STRIX device setup

Do each step only when VG says go.

Use Chrome or Edge.

1 · Connect

Plug in the device (USB data cable). Click Connect, pick it from the list.

2 · Install

Paste blob 1 from Signal. Click Install. Do not unplug.

3 · Confirm

Read this line to VG:

waiting for the device…

4 · Seal DRY-RUN

Rehearsal only. Nothing is burned.

UNSEALED (dry-run) · would burn: flash-encryption key, secure-boot digest, debug lock

5 · Install lease

Paste the lease blob VG sends. Click Install lease. The device checks the signature and re-anchors its weekly lease. On a field unit the next step is refused until this is done; the blob and your computer only pass the token on, the device verifies it.

6 · Load keys

The device shows its one-time key; VG reads it from your screen:

Paste the blob 2 VG sends back. Click Load keys. The keys are unscrambled inside the device; this page and your computer only pass them on still scrambled.

7 · Done

Close this window. Unplug the device.
